Jun 28, 2026"Wow! I had the chicken and waffles that was WELL worth the wait. We arrived early and that's the only reason we had our food in a timely manner, about a 35-40 minute wait. The restaurant became extremely busy but all of the staff were kind and courteous, but busy. I'm excited to go back, and I hope the service will improve in time because the food, the outdoor patio and location are absolutely perfect."

Jun 25, 2026"The BBQ sandwich used to be on a baguette but now pita bread which quickly broke apart. The meat was still delicious. The grits used to be so creamy and slightly sweet. I would come just for them. They were still quite smooth but just buttery, no flavor. I added a little cane sugar at home and it was perfect Food is decent"

Jun 19, 2026"Great little cafe with interesting food choices. I had the shrimp and grits and it was awesome. 04-07-2024. Stopped in again for brunch on a Sunday around 1130. The service was slow and they seemed somewhat overwhelmed. Definitely seemed to prioritize take out orders over the folks attempting to dine in. I waited about an hour for my food to make it to the table. I had the Salmon Croquettes which tasted more like tuna than salmon. I was a tad disappointed in that experience. Overall, my experience has been hit and miss here."

May 18, 2026"I found this Mi Casa Su Cafe by accident today and it was incredible. I got the catfish and grits and my friend got the jerk chicken and rice. Both of our meals had amazing flavor and were nice and hot (temperature). The catfish and grits is one of my favorite meals now! We also got the lemonade and cherry slushi which was one of the best slushies I’ve ever had — it was so sweet and flavorful. The service was wonderful, our waitress was lovely and a manager even came over to make sure we were doing well. Both were such friendly people. The atmosphere and decorations in the restaurant were really cool as well. I will absolutely be coming back, this is now one of my favorite restaurants in Milwaukee!"

Apr 20, 2026"Excellent food and environment! They have expanded their space since I last visited. The staff had a great attitude and was truly there to serve. Now let's get into the food! They have a great selection on their menu to choose from. We decided on the Salmon Bowl with the yellow rice. Also, the Jive Turkey Burger . Both dishes were spot on! I really want to go back today for another bowl! Thank you TWBCC for the gift card."

Mar 21, 2026"Great food! Going back again to get pictures this time! That’s how fast I ate it! Update: So I have a pic of the first time I went. I’ve enjoyed going and now I’m becoming indecisive on visiting again. The last two orders has been unsatisfactory and I didn’t get the same things that I paid for the first time. I always get the Chicken & Waffles with powders sugar and fruit with syrup … same price and menu item! I love the one woman who is very much like a family member that calls everyone Cuz! She always greet us with love and light!! The place is nice and I love the atmosphere but my orders aren’t looking like they were when we first went!"
